In a world evolving at an unprecedented pace, the National Youth Service Alumni recognises the need for its members to remain equipped with relevant, current and future-ready skills. As a vast pool of skilled professionals, we must continuously adapt to technological advancements and emerging industry trends.
As part of the NYS Alumni Career Development and Mentorship Programme, 89 interested members were sponsored and facilitated to access AI short courses across 25 learning platforms, including Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, NVIDIA, IBM, Harvard University, Stanford University and MIT.
The initiative targeted fresh graduates in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), telecommunications and computer science, as well as technology enthusiasts passionate about artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), technology and emerging trends. It aimed to promote continuous learning, strengthen digital competencies and enhance employability and professional growth in an increasingly technology-driven economy.
